Welcome to the Novels WikiProject
[edit]Hi, and welcome to the Novels WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to fiction books often referred to as "Novels".
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated quite regularly. You can watch it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WikiProject_Novels_announcements}} there.
While you are updating your userpage, don't forget our userbox {{Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Outreach/User WPNOVELS}}. - The project has a monthly newsletter; it will normally be delivered as a link, but other methods are available.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Starting some new articles? Our article structure guidelines / template outlines some things to include.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the members, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! – Liveste (talk • edits) 01:29, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Grateful Dead template
[edit]Hi Addionne. Instead of replying on my talk page as I usually do, I'm going to reply here. Thanks for the feedback on my version of the Grateful Dead template. I too like the individually collapsing template sections. But, there's now a standardized format for musical artist navboxes, so in May I changed the official GD navbox to use that -- see Template talk:Grateful Dead#Musical artist navbox. The new format does have an option for the entire template to initially be displayed collapsed, and I had that turned on, but another editor took it off, so now it's initially being displayed in expanded form. I still prefer collapsed, but most of the other navboxes initially display as expanded, and collapsed does require an extra click to get to the links. (If an article has more than one navbox, they're all initially collapsed by default.) As for the contents of the navbox, I think the official one is about right now, without the songs and the additional related articles. This too has been discussed -- see Template talk:Grateful Dead#Songs and the more recent discussion at Template talk:Grateful Dead#Related articles.... (If you reply here I will see what you say.) — Mudwater (Talk) 01:15, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- I've replied to your latest post on my talk page there, at User talk:Mudwater#Navbox for Keller Williams - want advice. Normally I'll just reply there without notifying you here, unless you have a preference for these notifications. :-) — Mudwater (Talk) 19:59, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
TuxNES AfD
[edit]Because they were the one that actually added it to the list, not me, but I wanted to tag it. MrKIA11 (talk) 21:59, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Tenacious D
[edit]I noticed your comment on the Tenacious D talk page. It is my intention to nominate this for FA very shortly. What do you think? Are there any issues that need dealt with? Tenacious D Fan (talk) 15:39, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comments. I have tried to re-order the sentence a bit. I've got a couple more issues to sort out with this, then it should be ready. Tenacious D Fan (talk) 10:46, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
String Cheese
[edit]I don't agree with your change to String Cheese Incident. Please comment on Talk:The_String_Cheese_Incident. If I don't hear from you in a day or so I'll undo. Oblivy (talk) 01:52, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Saw that you reverted your edits. I didn't mean to push too hard -- if you have a good faith basis it's OK, but as far as I know there's been no change in their status or lineup. All the best. Oblivy (talk) 23:18, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Deadheads for Obama
[edit]I have nominated Deadheads for Obama, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Deadheads for Obama. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Tenacious D Fan (talk) 09:25, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
